O R D E R:

The following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, issued in G.O.Ms.No.468, General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated the 17^th April, 1964 and as amended subsequently from time to time.

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, after rule '3A', the following shall be added, namely:" 3-B: Promptness and courtesy

No Government Servant shall –

(a)   in the performance of his official duties, act in a discourteous manner:

 

(b) in his official dealings with the public or otherwise adopt dilatory tactics or wilfully cause delays in disposal of the work assigned to him".
