The following notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh- hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 468, General Administration (Services. C) Department dated 17th April 1964 as subsequently amended.
AMENDMENT
In the said rules for rule 26. the following shall substituted; Namely:
26. Drinking: Save as provided in any law for the time being in force relating to intoxicating liquors or narcotic drugs anu psychotropic substances, no Government employee shall sell, buy, transport, process, consume or otherwise deal with any such intoxication liquor or drink, narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
